Airxcel, Inc., a committed partner to the RV industry, will offer virtual training during the 2nd Annual RV Technician and RV Inspector Expo, a 5-day event commencing April 13, 2021.  The event is hosted by the National RV Training Academy in association with the National Recreational Vehicle Inspectors Association. Online sessions cover a wide range of topics, including products from Airxcel brands Aqua-Hot, Coleman-Mach and Suburban. Airxcel’s modules will take place April 14. Registration information is available at www.nrvtaexpo.com.

Ideal for NRVTA graduates, RV inspectors and dealer and repair center technicians, classes will equip students to deliver unparalleled customer service by fully understanding key Aqua-Hot, Coleman-Mach and Suburban products.

The four-CEU credit-hour Aqua-Hot 200 Series session is a comprehensive overview of the principles and design of the popular hydronic heating and hot water solution. Led by Jim Yates, it will cover diesel and LP burner design, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and current manuals.

Coleman-Mach’s one-CEU credit-hour session will cover its complete line of climate control wall thermostats, both current and prior models, and zone control. Taught by Mike Dickey, topics will include determining the ideal thermostat for an application, troubleshooting, diagnostics and repair, as well as recognizing when a unit should be replaced.

Suburban’s two-CEU credit-hour session begins with an overview of its family of furnace products. Led by Kris Spengler, the training will focus on installation, service and repair, including the proper use of diagnostic devices and bench tests.

“We’re pleased to partner with NRVIA in fostering continuing education for RV inspectors and technicians,” said Tracey Viburg, Airxcel director of customer service. “By promoting product quality and reliability throughout the industry, we will help bring more people into the RV lifestyle, as well as retain those end-users who are already passionate about it.”
