Jayco recalls trailersJayco, Inc. is recalling a limited number of its 2016 towable products.

The recall applies to model year 2016 Octane Super Lite travel trailers manufactured November 2, 2015, to April 4, 2016, as well as 2016 model year Eagle travel trailers and Eagle fifth wheels.

According to the recall notice, the wiring going from the battery box to the roof mount solar fixture may not have been connected to a 30 amp breaker during the manufacturing process. Under certain circumstances, this condition could cause the wires to melt and/or short to ground, increasing the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property.
