Richmond, BC. – July 31, 2026 – The Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) of Canada is proud to announce its 40th Anniversary (1986–2026), marking four decades of serving as the unified national voice for independent RV dealers across the country. Since its founding, the association has acted as the backbone of the Canadian RV industry—fostering a strong, connected national dealer network, fuelling dealership success, and championing the outdoor lifestyle for millions of Canadian families.

As part of the year-long 40th Anniversary celebration, celebration, the RVDA of Canada has launched a nationwide Member Legacy Project.
As part of the year-long celebration, the RVDA of Canada has launched a nationwide Member Legacy Project.

To commemorate this milestone, the RVDA of Canada is rolling out a comprehensive national campaign centered on three core pillars: defining the tangible value provided to dealerships, building a cohesive national narrative, and providing members with a platform to celebrate their own local longevity and community impact.

“If four decades in the RV business have taught us anything, it’s that hitching up and travelling together gets you a lot further than trying to go solo,” said Ken Dobson, Chairman of the RVDA of Canada. “Our association has thrived because independent dealers know you don’t make a long haul like this alone. Over the past four decades, our members have built thriving local businesses that anchor their communities. This 40th anniversary isn’t just a look in the rearview mirror—it’s a celebration of the dealers who keep driving us forward.”

As part of the year-long celebration, the RVDA of Canada has launched a nationwide Member Legacy Project. All members and partners across the RVDA network are invited to share their historical photos, business milestones, and community contributions. These highlights will be published in an official 40th Anniversary Storybook and featured in a special commemorative video premiering at the RV Dealers Convention/Expo in Las Vegas this November.
