RVWA’s First Summer Discussion Series Draws Large Audience
The May 25, 2023 RVWA event brought in more than 110 virtual attendees to learn about sales and influencing people.
The RV Women’s Alliance hosted the opening instalment in its Summer Discussion Series on Thursday, May 25, with a large virtual audience in attendance.
The webinar, featuring industry veteran Tracy Anglemeyer of the RV Technical Institute, focused on sales techniques and influencing people.
As RV Technical Institute Director of Recruitment, Tracy works with RV dealerships across the country to ensure current RV techs are being trained using RVTI’s gold standard curriculum. Tracy maintains that the most crucial aspect of her position is networking. “I’ve worked with a lot of different dealers in the past, and I know their backgrounds. That’s important information to have, as well as sales skills and industry knowledge.”
Participants learned about facing failure, communication styles, TO’ing it, closing the sale and much more.
“We were overwhelmed with over 110 women registered for this event,” said Jessica Rider, managing director of the RV Women’s Alliance. “Held virtually and a combination of multiple programs we have offered in the past we saw this Summer Discussion Series as a way to offer mentorship for women around specific topics. This was a great kickoff to the entire series and we cannot wait to see more people on the upcoming calls.”
