Dealers reported strong sales at the 2023, Ottawa RV Expo & Sale

A strong return to Ottawa! Bone-rattling winter weather didn’t put a damper on sales. Dealers sold 53 units, with an impressive show total of $3.7M+! The chilly weather did not impact attendance and the event welcomed 6200+ RV and Camping enthusiasts. Congratulations to all our exhibitors and thanks for putting on a great event!

2023 Toronto Fall RV Show

The Toronto Fall RV Show and Sale is scheduled to operate on October 13-15, 2023, at The Toronto Congress Centre.   Showcasing the largest selection of RVs and the best deals of the season, the Toronto Fall RV Show and Sale features everything from luxury Class A motorhomes, park models, fifth wheels, travel trailers and all the leisure gear that goes along with them.

34th Annual Earlton Lion’s Club Draw

The Lion’s Club of Earlton and ORVDA present the 34th annual Earlton Lion’s Club Draw! Over $130,000 in prizes to be won!

About the Earlton Lion’s Club 

Since 1988, all profits from the annual draw have been reinvested throughout Northern Ontario. More than $1.6 million has been donated to over 100 organizations, including hospitals, schools, food banks, youth groups, and recreation and cultural clubs.

Motive Power Technician – Recreational and Sport Vehicles Diploma Program

The only program of its kind in Ontario, the Motive Power Technician Program was designed with interdisciplinary training for aviation, marine, recreational vehicles, and small engine repair.

Program Highlights

With a focus on four areas of transportation maintenance, this program is unique in its breadth of skills training.  Graduates will be in demand across various sectors including marine, aviation, and recreational vehicles.

Students will receive level 1 apprenticeship training for:

  • Recreational Vehicle Technician – 690H
  • Small Engine Technician – 435A
  • Marine Engine Technician – 435B
  • Turf Equipment Technician – 421C

Apprenticeship Insights 

According to the Canadian Apprenticeship Forum, over a 5-year period from 2022-2026, an estimated 122,320 new journeypersons will be required to sustain workforce certification levels across the 50+ Red Seal Trades. With the Motive Power Technician Program scheduled to launch in the fall of 2024, now is the perfect time to consider a career in the RV industry.
