Burlington, Ontario, December 7, 2021 – CRVA Wholesale Shipment Report- 3rd Quarter 2021 & Year to Date Results
The Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association reports that RV Wholesale Shipments into Canada for the 3rd Quarter ending September 30th, 2021 totalled 14,245 units compared to 6,995 in 2020, representing an increase of 103.65%. Total RV Wholesale Shipments into Canada year to date as of September 30th was 44,347 vs 20,101 units in 2020 representing an increase of 120.62% overall.
According to Statistical Surveys, RVDA of Canada reported that Retail Activity during the 3rd Quarter totalled 15,239 units and when compared to the wholesale shipment figure of 14,245, Canadian RV Dealer Inventory levels decreased slightly during the quarter.
CRVA expects that dealer inventory levels will start to build in the 4th quarter and into 2022 but that it will take the next 1-2 years to fully replenish inventory to historical industry levels.
