News from ACVRQ, the Quebec RVDA
En novembre, un nouveau conseil d’administration a été élue.
Anne-Marie Rochon du Centre de la Roulotte 1444 à Mirabel a été élu comme nouvelle présidente du conseil d’administration de l’ACVRQ. Josée Bédard, la présidente sortante du conseil d’administration ayant été élue comme présidente de la RVDA du Canada.

In November, 2021, a new ACVRQ board was elected. Anne-Marie Rochon, of Centre de la Roulotte 1444 in Mirabel, Quebec, is the new chair of the board of ACVRQ, taking over from Josée Bédard of Roulottes Chaudière in Levis, Quebec, who has been elected to serve as the new Chair of the Board of the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) of Canada.

En décembre, un nouveau directeur général est entré en fonction. Bernard Carignan, détenteur d’une maîtrise en gestion des petites et moyennes organisations, a beaucoup d’expérience dans le domaine de l’automobile et des sports récréatifs motorisés. Il aura beaucoup de défi pour les prochaines années.
In December, a new ACVRQ general manager was appointed. Bernard Carignan holds a Master’s Degree in management, and brings to his new position many years of experience in the small and medium business sector, with a focus on the automotive industry as well as the recreational industry. He is ready and enthusiastic to meet the many challenges anticipated for the next year, and years to come.
Salon du VR de Montréal
Au début janvier, en raison de l’incertitude qui entoure la pandémie et les mesures provinciales annoncées dernièrement, le conseil d’administration de l’ACVRQ a décidé que le Salon du VR de Montréal 2022 n’aura pas lieu comme prévue du 3 au 6 mars 2022.
Le retour du Salon du VR de Montréal est reporté à 2023.
Le salon du VR de Québec
Le salon du VR de Québec, dans la ville de Québec, prévu du 27 au 30 octobre 2022 n’est pas affecté par la présente décision et aura lieu tel que prévue.
Montreal RV Show
At the beginning of January, the board of directors of the ACVRQ made the difficult decision to suspend plans for the Salon du VR de Montréal 2022, previously scheduled for March 3 – 6, 2022. This major RV show has been postponed until 2023 due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the pandemic and the recently announced provincial measures to deal with the Omicron variant.
Quebec City RV Show
The Salon du VR de Québec, scheduled for October 27 – 30, 2022 in Québec City, is not affected by this decision and will be held as previously scheduled.
