SASKATOON, Saskatchewan, September 1, 2026Pleasure-Way Industries has announced the promotion of John Mattern to General Manager, effective September 1 2026.

John Mattern has been with Pleasure-Way for 22 years, building extensive experience across both the sales and production sides of the company. Most recently serving as Operations Manager, he has developed a comprehensive understanding of Pleasure-Way’s products, manufacturing processes, dealer relationships and customers.

Throughout his career, John Mattern has played an important role in maintaining the quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail for which Pleasure-Way is known. His experience working across multiple areas of the business gives him a valuable perspective on how product development, manufacturing, sales and customer expectations must work together.

As General Manager, Mattern will oversee Pleasure-Way’s day-to-day operations and work closely with the company’s management team across manufacturing, sales, product development, purchasing, quality control and customer support. His appointment strengthens Pleasure-Way’s leadership structure as the company continues to develop its product lineup and pursue opportunities for long-term growth.
