Truma Systems Featured on 2023 RV Business “RV of the Year” Winner and Finalists

Elkhart, IN – November 14, 2022 – Truma would like to congratulate Winnebago on being named the RV Business 2023 “RV of the Year” for the Winnebago HIKE 100 FLX, along with those manufacturers whose RV models were recognized as notable and honorable mentions on RV Business Magazine’s 2023 list.
Truma is honored to partner with Winnebago on the HIKE 100 FLX, a small, lightweight overlanding trailer designed to go far off the beaten path.
Taking inspiration from the Winnebago 2022 Micro Minnie FLX, the HIKE 100 FLX includes a full solar and lithium power package to allow owners to camp without needing electrical hook-ups. This benefit, paired with Truma systems, maximizes efficiency for those off-the-grid camping trips.
“The HIKE 100 FLX features the Truma Aventa A/C, the Truma AquaGo water heater, and the Truma VarioHeat furnace. These systems pull less amps so that a consumer can actually be off the grid for longer periods of time,” said Joel Eberlein, Vice President of Winnebago Towables. “The other benefit is higher performance of the systems themselves: instant hot water, an extremely quiet A/C, and greater durability compared to many of the standard appliances in the industry.”
The Truma Aventa, Truma AquaGo, and Truma VarioHeat systems are all controlled by the Truma CP Plus control panel as part of the Truma Interconnect package. RV owners can set the temperature for the RV and control select functions of their water heater from the same panel. The Truma CP Plus automatically engages the furnace or air conditioner as needed to maintain the desired temperature for a more comfortable and energy-efficient experience, just like a home thermostat.
