RV Care, Canada’s largest RV dealer network, held their Fifth National Dealers’ Meeting this past week and it was a virtual one.
“By all the comments received” … it was “a very successful event,” said the company in a statement.
“Usually at this time of the year our group gathers in Toronto, which was always a highlighted date on our calendars; however, these are different times, so we followed the health guidelines and went virtual,” said Derek Paterson, the network’s CEO.
The group reported 338 registered attendees over two days, which was more than would have participated at their in-person national meeting. The virtual conference format allowed them to invite staff members from their 80 RV Care Dealer Associate stores.
“The event just ended, so our team will meet and have a post-mortem discussion, but at this point, I’m both relieved that there were no technical issues and very enthused with the early feedback. Like all our National Meetings, our sole objective is for our dealers to take something away from the time they spend with us, this format allowed more dealership employees to participate which we believe will be very beneficial,” stated Paterson.
The meeting was also the official introduction of the new Alliance Partnership with the Route 66 RV Network. This Alliance now represents the most extensive independent RV dealer network in North America, with over 220 locations. New co-branded service programs were presented and well received by the RV Care members, with a planned market introduction to their customers in early 2021.
“The principles, priorities, and values of both organizations paired with our shared commitment to consumers made this a logical alliance,” said Rob Merrill, a founding partner of Route 66, who participated in the RV Care virtual event and shared his excitement during a LIVE chat session.
The RV Care Network has been a part of the Canadian RV landscape since 1999.
