The new Fifth-Wheel from KZ is a luxurious offering at a budget-friendly price.
KZ has debuted the all-new Durango Half-Ton, a luxury fifth-wheel designed to have a smaller footprint.
“The mid-profile Half-Ton is lightweight and compact, but also loaded with luxury standards at a very nice price point,” said Brent Froman, general manager of KZ RV. “All seven floorplans are under 12,000 lbs. GVWR, for towing with almost any truck.”
The standard Towing Package features a two-inch receiving hitch, 4-pin wire harness, 300-pound hitch rating and 3,000-pound tow rating, which allows you to tow your favorite fishing boat or a trailer with motorized toys. With the Durango Half-Ton, the end of summer doesn’t mean the end of camping, the Half-Ton’s standard Climate Package, which keeps tanks and pipes safely tucked away in the heated, insulated and enclosed underbelly, allows you to extend the camping season.
Interior upgrades include maple-glazed hardwood slide out fascia, an under-mount stainless steel kitchen sink and LED TV with multimedia stereo and DVD. All floorplans, including the D256RKT (pictured), include an upgraded tri-fold hide-a-bed.
“All these upgrades really set Half-Ton apart – our competitors typically don’t offer these features at this price point,” said Froman. “The 5/8-inch tongue-and-groove plywood flooring construction is a step up from OSB, and the partially-painted front cap is a high-end aesthetic.”
