GOSHEN, Ind. — May 27, 2025 — Keystone RV, one of North America’s leading manufacturers of towable recreational vehicles, today announced two major leadership moves that signal the company’s aggressive evolution into the future: the appointment of Matt Christensen to lead several flagship brands, and the addition of Nick Johnson as the company’s first-ever Vice President of Marketing and Communications.

“Keystone is here to play offense,” said Jeff Runels, President & CEO of Keystone RV. “This is how Keystone operates— we are purpose-built, dealer-driven, and relentlessly customer-focused. With Matt and Nick stepping into these roles, we’re aligning expertise and energy in exactly the right places.”
Expanding his scope of responsibility, Matt Christensen now oversees both the Montana and Springdale/Hideout brands—two of Keystone’s most iconic product lines. Known for his product instinct, creative problem-solving, and dealer-centric approach, Christensen is charged with pushing innovation while staying rooted in the practical needs of real-world campers.
Meanwhile, Nick Johnson joins Keystone as Vice President of Marketing and Communications, the first to ever hold that title in the company’s history. This milestone underscores the increasingly critical role that marketing plays in the RV industry as it adapts to a new generation of campers. Johnson spent the last 14 years as a marketing and strategy leader at the University of Notre Dame, bringing a reputation of performance, strategic vision, and team culture.
“Nick’s ability to connect mission with message is exactly what Keystone needs as we sharpen our identity and expand our voice,” said Runels. “We are excited about what’s ahead.”
In supporting moves:
• Jeff Rank, previously General Manager of Springdale and Hideout, has transitioned into the newly created role of Dealer Engagement GM. This position is designed to deepen relationships with Keystone’s dealer network and ensure consistent, two-way communication from the field to the factory.
• Colin Dechant, former General Manager of the Montana brand, has moved on to new opportunities. “Colin made a real impact here,” Runels noted. “We’re grateful for his time at Keystone and wish him continued success.”
These leadership changes are part of Keystone’s broader transformation—one rooted in clarity, accountability, and a renewed focus on the customers and dealers who’ve made it a household name.
