Organizers of the Halifax RV Show are celebrating, saying the show’s 19th edition was a resounding success.
Held January 24-27th, 2019 at the Halifax Exhibition Centre, organizers say attendance and crowds were strong throughout the week and into the weekend. Evenings were busy as well, thanks to the new $5 after 5:00 p.m. promotion, the organizers said in a release.
“It’s encouraging to see how dealers and customers continue to grow this show year after year,” says Scott Sprague, Show Manager. “Unit sales held strong with 141 total purchases made over the course of four days. We saw a lot of new and returning faces and have heard lots of positive feedback across the board. I’d like to personally thank everyone who took part.”
In addition to a wide variety of units, the show displayed RV services and information on the region’s top campgrounds and vacation destinations. Leading dealers from across the Maritimes filled the Halifax Exhibition Centre with units. Dealers included:
Wayne and Joan Crane were the winners of the “2019 ten grand in your hand” contest, walking away with an additional $10,000 in addition to their new 2018 Cougar 25RES from Stone’s RV.
Other visitor activities included a schedule of helpful Tech Sessions hosted by local RV tech experts. Visitors learned about maintenance tips, first-time RV purchasing, cooking for campers, and towing.
The ever-popular Washer Toss Tournament was also back for its third edition. Teams battled it out for the coveted title in two separate divisions. The team called Twin Towers took first place in competitive, and Girl Power took first place in the open division. Prizes included cash and giveaways sponsored by Pine Acres RV. Congratulations!
