Throughout the 2025 celebration of the CRVA’s 50th Anniversary, the Canadian RV industry joined forces to promote this milestone by displaying a specially-wrapped $100,000 Citation Reward travel trailer – generously provided by General Coach Canada, at RV shows, events, and dealer open houses, and selling tickets for a chance to win the trailer. The year-long 50th Anniversary RV Giveaway campaign raised more than $80,000 in support of Care Camps Canada, a charity dedicated to providing outdoor camp experiences for children living with cancer and their families.

“These past twelve months have been incredibly meaningful for our Association,” said Shane Devenish, President of the Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association. “As we celebrated 50 years in the RV industry and the RV lifestyle in Canada, we wanted to mark the milestone in a meaningful way that gave back and the response from the RV community was truly remarkable”.

The Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association expresses their sincere gratitude to its members, industry partners, volunteers, event organizers, and fellow Canadians who supported them in their campaign.

“This past year showed the strength and generosity of the Canadian RV community,” Devenish added. “We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who purchased a ticket, made a donation, or helped spread the word. It was a wonderful way to celebrate our 50th anniversary while making a real difference towards a truly meaningful cause.”

The official presentation took place simultaneously at the Toronto Spring Camping and RV Show, and online through a Care Camps Canada livestream.

The winner of the CRVA 50th Anniversary RV Giveaway was Denise Magwood of St. Catharines, Ontario.
