Grand Design Recreational Vehicle Company marked the first half of 2017 with the hiring of its 1000th employee.

The company entered the RV market in January 2013 with the release of their flagship Solitude Fifth Wheel. The company quickly followed that release up with their market leading Reflection line, which offers both fifth wheel and Travel Trailers and their Luxury Momentum Toy Hauler later that year. By introducing these products in quick succession, Grand Design created a total of 500 jobs in just 15 months.
In July of 2015, the company introduced their Imagine Travel Trailer, the success of which created more growth and hiring potential. Now in the first half of 2017, Grand Design has reached the 1000th employee mark and is continuing to grow. According to Statistical Surveys Inc., Grand Design experienced a strong year over year brand growth of nearly 67% through February. This growth has contributed to accelerated hiring and the need for a new plant, called Plant 6, that opened its doors for production in late 2016.
