Las Vegas, NV, November 12, 2025 – The RVDA of Canada, in conjunction with RV Lifestyle Magazine and RV Dealer News, today announced the winner of the Walt Paseska Memorial Canadian RV Dealer of the Year Award, Jonathan Stone, of Stone’s RV, New Glasgow and Sydney, Nova Scotia.
The award is presented to a candidate who has:
- Demonstrated long-term dedication to the RV industry and promotion of the RV lifestyle by the acting dealer principal of a recognized full-service RV dealership
- Shown commitment and participation in the RVDA at the provincial or national level;
- Been recognized by customers and peers as a person with the highest integrity and credibility in both work and personal life, and
- Made a contribution to their community.

The 2025 Canadian RV Dealer of the Year Award goes to Jonathan Stone, from Stone’s RV, New Glasgow and Sydney, Nova Scotia.
Jonathan Stone is the son of Kim Stone, who was the 2006 Canadian RV Dealer of the Year. Kim and Anne Stone started Stone’s RV over 40 years ago along with Kim’s father, Hector. Over 40 years later, the company has expanded to include both Stone’s Prestige Homes and Stone’s RV.
Jonathan Stone, Co-Owner and President of Stone’s RV & Home Center, represents the third generation of a family business celebrating 50 years in Nova Scotia, operating under the motto “Customers for Life.” His leadership spans both the RV and Manufactured Homes divisions, and he holds key roles on the Atlantic RVDA and RVDA Of Canada Boards as well as the Go RVing Canada Board. The business maintains a longstanding A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, and customers cite his availability, noting he always answers his phone to personally resolve issues. Stone’s RV is a pillar in the community, providing “immeasurable” support to local initiatives, notably serving as a key partner for The Kinsmen Club of New Glasgow by supporting their annual BBQs, RV giveaways, and hosting the Pictou County Ribfest food festival.
