Lance Camper Transitions to New Ownership, Enters Next Chapter of Brand Growth
LANCASTER, CA – June 26, 2025 – Lance Camper Manufacturing Corporation, a premier builder of high-quality travel trailers and truck campers, today announced its transition to new ownership as part of a planned sale, marking a significant milestone in the company’s 60-year legacy.
The sale concludes Lance Camper’s tenure under REV Group and returns the company to private ownership – an environment under which the brand historically thrived. Lance will continue full operations at its Lancaster, California facility with no disruption to production, service, or dealer support.
During its time with REV, Lance expanded its production capacity, invested in infrastructure and automation, and strengthened internal systems and processes. These enhancements have positioned the company to respond more efficiently to market demand and continue delivering the product quality and dealer support for which Lance is known.

With this new and expanded leadership team that understands both the retail and manufacturing sides of the industry, we’re entering a new era of focus and forward momentum.”
Bill Rex, a longtime RV industry veteran whose career began on the factory floor at Dolphin Campers before founding Rexhall Industries in 1986, will serve as President. His background includes decades of experience in engineering, operations, and executive leadership with companies such as Thor West, and BYD Coach & Bus as their President & General Manager.
“Lance has long been a brand I’ve respected and admired,” said Rex. “To now help lead its next phase of growth is a tremendous honour. My goal is to build on the strengths that made Lance a leader—smart design, strong dealer relationships, and consistent quality—while introducing renewed energy and operational focus.”
The change follows REV Group’s strategic decision to focus exclusively on its motorized RV portfolio.
