Kitchener, Ontario-based Erwin Hymer Group North America, Inc. introduced new models for both its Roadtrek and Hymer brands at the Hershey, Pennsylvania RV Show in mid-September.

The company operated two booths at the Hershey show. The Roadtrek display showed 13 models, including the recently launched Simplicity entry level model and the all new Link – the first Class B motorhome to have a separate full telescopic shower that can also be used as additional storage and a large work surface.

The new Hymer display marked the first public display of the brand in North America. The display included the all new Aktiv model, described as a “European-inspired coach built on the Ram ProMaster chassis, aimed at people who enjoy the outdoors and active lifestyle.” The Aktiv has a full kitchen galley, seating for up to four, separate bathroom and shower with a swivel toilet and flip up sink to maximize space. Queen bed also folds up, opening the aisle for the storage of larger items such as bicycles, skis and kayaks.

The company also displayed its new Hymer Touring lightweight travel trailers, which the company will be manufacturing in the spring of next year. Hymer says the new trailers will “revolutionize the RV industry” as they can be towed by virtually any car.

“We are really excited for the Hershey show this year, it has always been a great venue for our innovative and lifestyle enhancing Roadtrek models,” said Jim Hammill, Erwin Hymer Group North America, Inc. president and CEO. “We know people are excited to see what the new Hymer team are showcasing as well, with that excellent European storage systems and styling.”
