Canadian Outdoor Hospitality

The Canadian Camping and RV Council (CCRVC) has announced the inaugural Canadian Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo, an online show for the Canadian camping and RV industry to take place January 18–21, 2021.

Produced through a partnership with CampCon, a virtual conference and event planning company for the outdoor hospitality industry, the conference will provide an opportunity for Canadians to come together for the betterment of the national camping and RV industry.

“Celebrating New Beginnings” is the theme and it serves to highlight the first-time experiences that the outdoor industry and its devotees have experienced since the COVID-19 pandemic. From new types of guests staying at campgrounds, to record-breaking reservation numbers and RV sales, it will also serve as a ‘new beginning’ for the Canadian Camping & RV Council as their first-ever conference and virtual experience.

“We’re thrilled to be offering exclusive educational opportunities to campgrounds across the country in a unique virtual format that will allow anyone to attend,” said Shane Devenish, Executive Director of the Canadian Camping & RV Council. “We’ve spent months planning the perfect experience that will be jam-packed full of networking opportunities and much more for campground owners.”

The Canadian Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo will offer educational sessions, live video networking opportunities, interactive workshops, group discussions, keynote speakers and involve suppliers and sponsors from across North America.

“One of the things we’re most excited about are our new awards that will recognize the contributions of notable individuals to the Canadian Camping industry,” says Cara Braeutigam, Member Services Coordinator, for the Canadian Camping & RV Council.

Campground owners and industry professionals who wish to attend the conference can register now on the event website. There will also be opportunities for sponsorships and interactive booths for suppliers to present their products and services.

“We’re looking forward to hosting this national event for the entire Canadian RV and camping industry and we can’t wait to see everyone on January 18,” said Shane Devenish.

Cost of the event is $199 (CAD) for CCRVC members and $299 for non-members. Employees at campgrounds of members who purchase a full-priced registration can attend for the discounted rate of $49. Non-CCRVC member extra attendees are priced at $99.
