Don McPhail – October 29,1931 – July 26, 2021
Donald Stuart McPhail of Harriston, passed away at the Palmerston and District Hospital, on Monday, July 26, 2021, in his 90th year.
Don, alongside his wife Jackie, owned and operated McPhail’s of Harriston RV Sales for over 60 years. In addition to his accomplishments in the RV Industry Don was actively involved in his community, serving as a volunteer firefighter in Clifford and Harriston.
He was also a council member followed by Mayor of the town of Harriston from 1971 to 1976, and served as a Board Member and Chairman of the Palmerston & District Hospital; he was instrumental in participating in the first Palmerston & District Hospital fundraising Radio-thon.
Loving husband of Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ (Kruspe) McPhail and father of Paul McPhail & Sandra Schalk of Harriston, Kim & Jimmy Keys of Naples, FL, and Pam & Dave Turton of Harriston. Don will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
